Starting April 1, 2026, a major change is coming to the automotive industry in Ontario.

Continued Professional Development (CPD) will become mandatory for all dealers and salespeople who want to renew their OMVIC license.

No CPD = no license renewal.
And no license means you can’t legally sell cars.
