Mike and Toby are heading to Aspen, California.  Where the beer flows like wine and the women distinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.  Oh, the adventures they'll have.  They ran into some trouble with the local rednecks who called them an Idiot from Coronado.  Then they crashed a party and got drunk off some bubbly Hop Stoopid.  After this week's show, you can decide which is Dumb and which is Dumber.  Cheers!

We hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving - last year!.  We sure did.  We had The Beer Babe over for dinner and there were so many leftovers, we had to freeze a bunch.  So, here you go, our 2014 Thanksgiving show - defrosted.  Mike and Toby get ready to pluck the Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout from Anderson Valley while Carla(the Beer Babe) cracks a can of some White Thai from Westbrook(because the can has a bird on it).  And then, Mike goes for a bonus beer with Three Cranes from Mystic Brewing.  Cheers!

Our good friend, Tony Leone over at Beer411, gave us the idea to try 12 different holiday beers in the month of December.  In this issue, we are joined by Tony and we try the first three in the dozen: the 12th, the 11th and the 10th Beers Of Christmas.

During our Fermentation Conversation, we are joined by Tony Leone from Beer411 for another pumpkin beer challenge.  But, this year's will not be tournament style or blind(except for Crazy Dave), it will be two pumpkin beers - head to head!  We did not go with simple pumpkin, but Imperial.  Tony hooked us up with the Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale and Two Roads Roadsmary's Baby.  In our Tasting Flights, Tony tries Jack's Abby Pumpkin Crop Lager, Crazy Dave is Punk'In Drublic in Coronado, Toby checks the Almanac for an Heirloom Pumpkin and Mike takes the Long Trail Imperial Pumpkin.  Thanks to Tony for joining us for yet another successful pumpkin show.  Cheers!

Instead of doing our annual Halloween show, we went with a Day Of The Dead theme.  Plus, it gave us an extra day to edit.  For our Fermentation Conversation, all three Coasters try the Noche de los Muertos from Aztec Brewing.  Toby crawls out of his grave to sip on the Evil Dead Red from Alesmith, Mike joins the Devil Dancer from Founders for a tune.  Crazy Dave then takes a spin on a bike with some zombies and the Beer Jargon Guy while partaking in the Gratzer from New Belgium / Three Floyds.  Feliz el Die de los Muertos!  Salud!
