The conversation starts with Michael Loney, Founder of Freedom Hoops, who shares how basketball and faith-based mentorship are transforming the lives of inner-city youth in Kansas City.
Next, Bill highlights the Aspen Institute's Kansas City's State of Play Report, breaking down the data and insights on why Kansas City youth rank among the most inactive in the country and what solutions are being implemented to improve access and participation.
The night concludes with Jeremy Crabtree, a national recruiting expert, who discusses the college recruiting process, what student-athletes need to know, and how parents and coaches can support their journey.
The final moments include a last fundraising push, reminding listeners to donate, sign up, and participate in the March Gladness auction, which runs throughout March.
