Before They Were Famous

Back in 2013 Offset was caught flexing with stacks of cash and copping himself his first Rolex. Fast forward the clock 5 years and we see the man at his 27th birthday threw rocking an outfit designed for an Egyptian Pharoh complete with a gold mask, gold breast place, and golden cape. That night his record label gifted him a brand new Rolls Royce but it's not like he really needs it. Offset already has a small parking lot of whips including two Bentley's, two Rolls Royce a Porche 911 & him and Cardi B picked up matching Lamborghini Aventador's. When it comes to Ice Offset has a number of rings, grillz, and chains including his Quality Control Pendant, and Incredibles pendant. His 65 Karat Raindrop piece and his $150K Trap House chain which was a gift to him from Cardi. Don't worry, he got her back with a half a million dollar engagement ring. It's not just cars for himself. He also gifted mama a Range Rover and a man who saved his life after a car crash a Nissan Altima.

It's been one heck of a year. Things kicked off with the body in a forest, then the Internet was overrun by Uganda Knuckles before everyone became obsessed with Fortnite. Lots of great artists were popping off this year. Some inspired the funniest and most viral Internet memes; others have left us the best music of the year, despite their tragic ending... Team 10 fell apart and Lil Tay was gone as quickly as she came. The kid yodeling in Walmart became a mainstream star and there were rap beefs between multiple legends and sports trades no one ever expected. There were also YouTubers entering the boxing ring. 6ix9ine was sent to prison and Wide Neck's mugshot made him a viral star once he was released. On top of all this, there was even a catchphrase for the summer of 2018.

Nicki Minaj has been climbing hip-hop latter since 2009 to becoming one of the most well-known entertainers of her generation.

Dropping three mixtapes, four studio albums, as well as being featured on three compilation efforts, Nicki has cemented her legacy with over ten Grammy nods. She has also taken home six American Music Awards, eight BET Hip-Hop awards, and four billboard music trophies. Her musical skill has also paved the way to a hosting gig on American Idol as well as film roles in Ice Age: Continental Drift, The Other Woman, and Barber Shop: The Next Cut. This was once the girl who was getting fired from Red Lobster for... Well, we'll get into it later.

Before his song “That’s On Me” would become the number one song on Urban radio and have close to 100 million views on YouTube.

Before he would collaborate with the likes of Lil Baby, T.I. Rich The Kidd, 2 Chainz, Boozie and open for Beyonce and Jay Z on their Dallas and Houston stop of the On The Run II Tour

Sources estimate that Quavo from the Migos is worth an estimated $16 million. In the past year, he has dropped an estimated $2.5 million on three separate houses in his home state of Georgia. He also bought a Mercedes G-Wagon for $250,000, a Mercedes S-Class for $90,000, as well as a McClaren he bought for almost more than both those rides put together. The ATL rapper stays loyal to his family. In August of 2018, he copped his mom with a Range Rover.

Ski Mask The Slump God has always been inspired by music and says it was the only thing he ever knew he was talented at. But his rise to fame didn’t come easy. He didn’t start really crafting his bars until he was behind bars where he met a rapper that helped change the course of his life. Together they grew a cult following, unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, and did shows across the country where kids would go WILD. Eventually, he would cement himself as one of hip-hop’s most promising young acts.

When you think of Fetty Wap, you probably think of a one-eyed rap superstar serenading ladies with the hook from the latest club banger. Along with Nate Dogg, Akon, T-Pain, and Drake, Fetty has gone down as one of the all-time great hip-hop chorus singers. With countless guest appearances on hit singles from artists like Gucci Mane, Migos, and Gwen Stefani, the twenty-seven-year-old New Jersey native has made a name for himself throughout popular culture.

Releasing eight mixtapes and one full-length studio album, it's almost impossible for you to have not felt his buzz with his style of combined singing and rapping. He refers to this style as “ignorant rap”. While his lyrics and subject matter would have you put him in more of the gangster/drug dealer category, the rapper has actually proven to be an idol to young raps fans. Most recently his seven-year-old son wrote him a letter stating that he wants to be just like him. His son's admiration aside, Fetty like all of us has made some mistakes. He's even had a run-in with the law. We won't give it away, but it does involve a Mercedes Benz.

Kush Papi is an Instagram personality who has been making us laugh since last winter when he decided to take to IG with his minute-long skits, rants as well as an undying love for juice. Seriously in almost every one of the guy's videos, he's drinking a jug of Minute-Maid or Welches juice. When asked in an interview with
DJ Smallz why he chose this beverage, stated:
“Juice is my life. If I was a vampire, they need blood to survive, I need juice. If I
was without my juice, I would freeze up. I'd turn into a stone man. I drink juice, I
come back to life.
Like Austin Powers, this is my mojo.”Garnering millions of views to his page, 2018 has certainly proven to be successful for the twenty-five-year-old Chicago native. He's even caught the
the attention of Dwayne the Rock Johnson, who now follows the young man's page.
Out of excitement, Kush messaged the wrestling icon and got a message back with the Rock quoting get the f out of here. I mean I hope he was quoting
him and didn't actually tell him to F off

Tyson Fury is an Irish/British boxing champ hailing from Manchester, England. Standing at 6 ft. 9, the fighter is certainly nobody to be messed with. Just ask his dozens of opponents who have knuckled-up with this giant in the ring. With a total of twenty-eight fights under his belt, the Gypsy King defeated Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko in 2015, becoming a unified champion of the world. Fighting Deontay Wilder on December 1st, 2018, the match came to a draw, leaving fans wanting answers.

The son of Irish Travellers, you can say that Tyson was born to be a fighter. A premature baby, his parents as well as doctors didn't think he would live. As a result of breathing complications, the family claims he nearly died twice. Tyson's father would sit with the newborn day and night talking to him, claiming that when he placed his hand on Tyson's small body, he could feel the life within him. He turned to the doctor and said he will make it. He also described watching baby Tyson laying on his back with his fists up high.

Cuban Doll is a rapper/model hailing from Dallas, Texas. Rapping since the age of eighteen, the performer has been lightening up social media with not only hot photos but bangin' hip-hop tracks. Now I said in our last profile of the rapper that she was on the cusp of becoming a household name. Based on the news this week, the may just happen.

Also known as Cuban da Savage, the Lone Star State rapper has released two popular mixtapes, Cuban Link and Aaliyah Keef, and breaking out into the industry with the track Bankrupt. She has also been involved in highly publicized feuds with Asian Doll as well as a domestic abuse scandal involving a boyfriend and Chief Keef associate Tadoe. Eyes are now on her for different reasons. On December 4th, 2018, amid reports of Cardi B and Offset getting divorced, Cuban Doll's name began circulated as a potential reason for the split and that's what we're here to talk about.
