We all carry hidden aspects of ourselves, seeds of life, of goodness, that want to be shared and planted in this world. Not because we have to - yet because they are there - wanting to be given, offered for the renewal and flourishing of our lives and others.

I find that something in me really struggles to trust the desire to rest and nest come mid-winter. Maybe you notice something similar happening within you too. Both a wanting for more rest to be renewed and something that resists or mistrusts that longing. Or maybe you notice another part of you that seems to be the permission granter, like you can rest after such and such gets done.

Let’s go slow and make space to listen to the deeper wisdom of these longings held within us and open ourselves to the gifts of grace that come.

This is a very special beginning for me. I created this attunement just days before I traveled to be at my father’s bedside. My dad was able to hear my voice as we listened to this recording together. It was my papa who introduced me to recording my voice on a mini tape recorder almost 50 years ago. I’ve been shocked by the sound of my voice since then. And I’ve come to so far. I dedicate this beginning to my dad.

Always, we begin again.
