It was a VERY SLOW start to my new year. I came down with some nasty stomach bug and had one day where I thought I was recovering, and then plummeted to the depths of despair. This is day 9 of no food, now slowly adding liquids and beginning again. Like all events in life, this one was meaningful and full of lessons; it proved no exception.
