For several years in my forties, I swam in the ocean each morning. The water was cold when we dove into the Bay and often times it would take a while before my strokes would find the rhythm of the waves in order that I wouldn’t swallow too much water whenever I turned my thermal cap covered head to take a breath as I watched the city lights in the dawn of early morning.
This past week has been full. We went to our daughter's and son's gathering in Texas, where over 1000 people gathered for Confluence, and yesterday I sat with my sister through her 4-plus hour appointment for her first chemotherapy infusion.
Listen in as we explore just how our job is to ride the waves of life.
