  • Begin, Again

It was a VERY SLOW start to my new year. I came down with some nasty stomach bug and had one day where I thought I was recovering, and then plummeted to the depths of despair. This is day 9 of no food, now slowly adding liquids and beginning again. Like all events in life, this one was meaningful and full of lessons; it proved no exception. Listen in as I share more (from the depths). Happy New Year.

  • Ending Well

As a year comes to an end and we may all see it as a way to create closure and begin to step into something new, please consider that the same opportunity exists in every moment. We don’t always look at it that way, but it’s there. If you are someone who is walking through healing from addiction, you know the value of just one moment; the option is to make a choice that may dictate your future. Listen in for some insights into how we can all create endings well, this moment and the year as it comes to a close, setting ourselves up for a new, healthy beginning.

  • Being Expectant Is Not The Same As Having Expectations

One of the easiest ways to tap into what it is like to be expectant is to recall Christmas Eve as a child. Remember going to bed early so the morning would come more quickly? If your family didn’t celebrate Christmas, perhaps it was a birthday, or a summer vacation, something you looked forward to and couldn’t wait for to happen. Let’s look at the difference between having expectations and being expectant, the outcomes are very different.
