- Over 500,000 people gathered in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 21 for the Women's March, making it the biggest inaugural protest in history. Meanwhile, millions more marched in over 80 cities across the nation and in 60 countries around the world. The demonstrations were held to stand up for women's rights and equality in wake of the start of President Donald Trump's administration. On Sunday, the LYVBH team talked about the purpose of the march, the participation or lack thereof from black women, and the next steps in the fight of resistance against the Trump administration.
