By the end of the first All America Football Conference season in 1946, the new league would learn three things. Have a good owner, a good coach, and good talent on the field. Some teams didn’t have enough of any of those things.

The 1939 UCLA Bruins made NCAA history by playing four African Americans on their football team. If not been for their fame and undefeated season, NFL history would not have been made in 1946.
