Welcome back to Episode 5 of Behind the BDS. Today I am doing something a bit different, in that I'm going to be chatting with you about my experience of recently becoming a Mental Health First Aider with MHFA England. I will be sharing with you some of the things I learned during the training including a mnemonic that can be used, similar to DRABC for physical first aid, but for mental health first aid. I will also be exploring panic disorder, phobias and other mental illnesses. I have linked below some of the research and references I used, especially with the statistics within the episode.
