Wendy White has been CEO of Face It TOGETHER since 2020. Wendy enjoys promoting wellness with those she encounters and helping change the narrative around addiction. She’s focused on creating a sustainable organization with innovation and financial rigor. Her favorite things are watching the growth of team members and hearing stories of hope and wellness from our members. Creating a workplace culture that focuses on the importance of health and wellness is a critical component of her job.

Prior to joining the Face It TOGETHER team, Wendy worked in healthcare for almost 20 years. She focused primarily on supporting clinicians and patient outcomes through the use of clinical systems. Wendy has a bachelor’s degree in biology and clinical lab science (ASCP) and a master’s in business administration.

Wendy stays busy with her husband, four kids and four dogs. She enjoys camping and boating with her family for as long as the weather allows. She finds peace and self-care through yoga, exercise and the support of close friends. She loves to travel, but with four kids it means long road trips. Looking toward retirement, Wendy and her husband plan to live on a boat and complete the Great Loop.

What is Face It Together?

Face It TOGETHER is a peer-based nonprofit focused on data, science, and getting people well from addiction. They address addiction differently by supporting those with addiction and loved ones in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

About 20 million Americans suffer from addiction. Almost 90% of them are missed every year by today’s system. The human and financial consequences are enormous, affecting every sector of society. And for every person with addiction, about three to four loved ones are directly impacted.

Moreover, drug and alcohol addiction is at the root of a wide range of challenging social problems and is inextricably linked to our quality of life, the strength of our economy and the safety of our communities.

The Diamond room was founded in 1996 by Alon Spektor. Alon, a native of Israel, attended college in the Midwest but did not realize his passion for diamonds until shopping for earrings at the Diamond Exchange in Ramat Gan, Israel. Upon his arrival back to the U.S. Alon studied the local diamond market and decided to establish the first wholesale diamond business in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1984.

Justin Shatto joined The Diamond Room team in 2013 and he quickly learned the ins and outs of the jewelry industry, developing a passion for gemology. His attention to detail and genuine respect for his customers makes him a great fit to serve the Sioux Falls area. He is working towards his gemology degree to better serve the community as a certified gemologist.

Tyler founded Tyler Goff Group with Hegg Realtors in Sioux Falls, SD, out of a deep desire to help people with their real estate needs. He is intimately familiar with the struggles of transition periods in life, whether you’re a single mother, a couple preparing for retirement, or just simply ready to make some life changes.

At one time, Tyler himself was a child of a single mother and he grew up watching his mom work hard to do what was best for their family. That high respect for women and the incredible amount they take on has stuck with him ever since.

Tyler graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications - Public Relations. Since the start of his real estate career over 12 years ago, he has had many real estate designations, has won numerous awards, and has been voted Local Best since 2014.

Tyler draws much of his day-to-day strength from his family. In 2007, he married Melissa, his high school sweetheart and the love of his life. They have since been blessed with four amazing children; Tatum, Avery, Mason, and TJ.

Helping people successfully reach their real estate goals is not just a job for Tyler. It’s personal.

Preston is from the cooooooooold Midwest. He was born in Fargo, ND and was raised in Bison, SD. He attended high school at Sunshine Bible Academy, a Christian boarding school in the center of South Dakota. He then went on to graduate from Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell, SD, and spent the next 8 years after graduating in Sioux Falls, SD.

During his sophomore summer of high school, and every summer thereafter, Preston went on a mission trip with SBA. First to Mexico, then many years to The Honduras where he met Daniel and Laura Peal, and then to Puerto Rico since 2018.

He spent the year of 2022 in Puerto Rico volunteering with Youth For Christ and is currently back in the states support raising in order to go back FULL TIME with YFCPR!

Eating at the table is one of the greatest ways to share love. It's putting our best at the table for others to partake of. It's a weekly family meal with great food, conversation, laughter, and sometimes tears. It's a safe space for people to break down walls and do life together. Gathering at the table gives us the space to welcome people into a conversation.  A conversation about the person, about life, about faith, or no faith at all.
