Behind The Curtain with Paul Waite

Episode 5 of the Behind The Curtain podcast is LIVE!

Rick Calow has had an incredible career so far.

From dancing and performing at 6 years old to learning his trade at Butlin's, he's performed thousands of gigs across land and sea, and he currently mesmerises crowds as Rock DJ, a tribute to Robbie Williams.

Rick also bravely took us through his Britain's Got Talent experience, how it almost ruined his love of performing, but how he rediscovered his spark.

You don't want to miss this.

Episode #4 of the Behind The Curtain podcast is LIVE.

And today's guest is Mike Godolphin, the Head of Entertainment at Butlin's for the past 20 years.

In this episode, we discuss leadership, managing teams, how he persuaded World Wrestling Entertainment and Madness to bring their shows to Butlin's, and the advice he would give to the next generation of talent emerging in the entertainment industry.

Episode 3 of Behind The Curtain is LIVE.

And my latest episode is with the tremendous Matt Williams.

Matt has had an amazing career so far that has seen him become the Head of Entertainment, Leisure, and Activities at Warner Hotels, Hotel and Entertainment Operations Manager at Marella Cruises, and the Head of Entertainment at My Travel.

Here are a few topics that we covered:

🔥How to successfully lead and manage large teams in the entertainment industry

🔥Brutal setbacks and the resilience needed to overcome them

🔥 Why artists need to understand the business of their talents

And there was so much more along the way.

This is such a unique conversation from the POV of someone who started at the bottom and rose to senior leadership.
