  • Aarynton Smith - Emerging Black Christian Leaders: The Church, Race, and Culture

As we round out Black History Month, I wanted to have a dialogue about race, church, and society in 2021. Today in the GRIND seat, I asked Aarynton Smith, an emerging Christian leader, to share a GEN Z perspective of being a young black man in America. In light of everything black Americans have faced over the years, we talk about what the younger generation is still facing when comes to injustices and racism.

Later in our discussion, we deep dive into being black in a white Christian church. The question is, "How do we heal from the tragedies and trauma in order to progress forward for future generations?" Of course, TRUE healing begins with the Body of Christ. Real Talk.
