We hear from Jim Wimhurst, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Cristiana Jorge, Matron for Trauma and Orthopaedics, who have been heavily involved in bringing this project to life. We look at the facilities including two theatres, a ward, recovery area and physiotherapy room. Our guests explain how patients will benefit from using a stand alone unit and how this new facility will help reduce waiting lists.
