For LitCon 2021 I chat with author and illustrator Tina O'hailey about her love for animation and writing YA Mystery, time travel cave adventures. There is a rule that most writers follow for their first book and that is 'to write about what you know.'  Tina loves caving, as well as being a professor and still teaching animation, being an author and taking time to write and promote, she still finds time to enjoy her hobby of caving.

Tina wrote her own biography but turned it into a three books trilogy of fiction. Based on her own life, from being with a drug addict to becoming a fisherwoman and hunting for lobsters in the ocean, to a reunion with her sisters, that took years before it happened.

In Robert's debut novel, he tells his interpretation of the afterlife and resurrection. But this isn't a 'throw down your throat' preaching novel. Oh, no. This has romance, horror, thriller, and so many genres mixed into a fascinating story We talk about how the world has changed and how if one person wasn't in your life, how much things would change.

When we first started chatting we talked about Linwood's poetry and then the YA fantasy book he's working on and his love for everything Greek ;) but then the conversation did a 180 and ended up talking about religion, which I DON'T talk about on my show, however, this wasn't about the church. This was about the bible and love and Linwood's way of thinking.

I get to chat with this very talented rap artist from Brooklyn, who managed to record and produce an album whilst in lockdown. Using YouTube videos, he taught himself how to mix and produce the rap he has been writing since the age of 14.  And even now he's throwing out lyrics and creating more tracks every few days.
