Behind The Practice

In this episode, we sit down with Rachel Ruiz, LCSW, Founder and Clinical Director of Woven Family Counseling, for a conversation about the story behind the practice.

Rachel shares how she built a practice rooted in quality over quantity, why there's never a "perfect yes" when it comes to big, transformational decisions, and why she sees running a group practice not as the finish line, but as just the beginning. We also get into human-centered marketing for healthcare, why social media works more like a business card than a scroll-stopper, and how to keep moving forward when you can only see the next step.

Whether you're a parent looking for support, a clinician thinking about growing your own practice, or just getting to know Woven Family Counseling, this episode is a chance to hear directly from Rachel about why this work matters to her, and what she hopes it means for the families she serves.
