Jamie Wellwarth is an audio engineer and production manager for Nomad Sound, based in Austin, TX. He's had an incredible career starting in Binghampton, New York, and touring all over the world with artists such as Jane's Addiction, Social Distortion, Fitz and the Tantrums along with helping develop and manage production for venues such as Continental Club, C-Boys, East-End Ballroom, Emo's, and Meanwhile Brewing. His career spans way beyond these highlights, and he's won the Austin Chronicle's "Best Sound Engineer" award (nominated again in 2025/26), along with mentoring countless engineers.
In today's episode, we will be discussing one of his many "it" moments, which was helping produce and manage production for Arlyn Studio's 40th Anniversary party, an all-day event featuring local legends and national acts.
