Dr. Mowlds is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in private practice in Newport Beach, CA. His surgical practice focuses on aesthetic plastic surgery of the face, breast and body. 

Dr. Mowlds dives into how mothers of the bride and groom will seek plastic surgery before their children’s weddings here in Orange County - the society pressure is real here. There are many motivations behind clients wanting plastic surgery including the emotional triggers a wedding can bring and Dr. Mowlds’ is to help guide them through their expectations.

We learn a little more about Dr. Mowlds personally and a couple interesting stories of weddings he’s attended himself! He may have also attended Hayley Paige’s (also known as Cheval) first wedding where a unicorn and color fog was present.

Dr. Mowlds has some some tips to share for brides! Start 5-6 months out from your wedding day if you're looking into non-surgical procedures like botox and fillers so you have time to do a trial run to ensure you like what you’ll look like, and if not, you have time to let it dissipate before you say “I do!” Anything surgical, start a year out so you have a cushion for planning, consideration, surgery and full recovery! Generally speaking of course!

Dr. Mowlds received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Following this, he received a Masters in Business Administration degree from the Paul Merage School of Business. He completed six years of training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine.

Shannon is the Owner of Hoo Films and an adventure travel cinematographer.  Over the past 15 years, filmmaking has taken her around the globe, visiting 5 continents and over 40 countries.  There is no experience too wild for Shannon, who is the definition of adventure.  Trekking with gorillas, swimming with jaguars, and jumping in the Amazon River are just a few of the incredible feats conquered by our good friend Shannon.  Besides these incredible travel experiences around the world, she’s been hired by an extravagant list of celebrities and professional athletes, including Reese Witherspoon, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and many USA Olympians.

Robin, Kelsey + Shannon have traveled to the island of Roatan off of Honduras for the best girl’s trip ever. Small Town Girl from Alabama, Jana Williams will charm you with her cute Southern accent and bubbly personality! Don’t be surprised by her phenomenal portfolio and resume of work the last two decades since she made the big move to LA. Jana started her photography career shooting Ford Models and is now one of the most prominent wedding photographers in the world!
