PINK is truly having a moment this year (thank you Barbie movie), the terracotta burnt orange wedding theme search on Pinterest has grown over 695% this year (ew, why?!?), to Moissanite Rings which are a great alternative to diamonds to retro-inspired wedding cakes (we guess for the GenZers), lol And, did you know there are lab grown diamonds?! Robin + Kelsey share their secret sauce for always staying calm, cool and collected as Wedding Planners. They’re faced with some of the most stressful challenges as they manage so many layers of the wedding day - vendors, venue, guests, couple and the family all while staying calm and professional.  As planners you have to be a chameleon to adapt to who you are dealing or speaking with - so many personalities and styles to manage! You must keep that bird’s eye view to keep the day organized and on-time!

Wedding Planners used to be on the list for the most stressful jobs. Robin + Kelsey are ready to campaign to bring it back to the most stressful job list. They share some disaster stories that would give someone an extreme anxiety attack, but as planners you have to stay calm, cool and collected to help and mitigate stressful situations!

Keeping calm under pressure even if the couple or guests are freaking out is super key! We’re going to always do our best to fix or mitigate the stressful situation. Jim photographed 15 weddings his first year of business which quickly grew to 98 weddings by his fourth year. Jim was one of the first in Orange County to grow his photography business to a team of associate photographers, which we learn was controversial back in the day.

Jim shares some WILD stories from groomsmen with guns, to a Hawaii destination wedding with moms of the couple physically fighting and calling off their kid’s weddings the night before. Top this off with a passed out groom who only attended an hour of his own wedding LOL - wow this episode is packed full of great stories!
