  • Imaginary Haters
"Haters" are they real or Imaginary?  What happens in our spaces when we interpret objective feed or criticism as "Hate".  Kim Derrell Swift from Houston, Texas said: "This is going to be valuable, you need to acknowledge threats or at least be aware of them and that's exactly what this topic is about"
We're in living in a hyper sensitive era, people are walking on eggshells tip toeing around racism/sexism and others are like bulls in a china shop-they can't help themselves they're setting off all of the isms and phobias intentionally.  Then we have a segment of our society that craves attention feels entitled and can't receive objective feedback.  The moment someone voices a different point of view their tagged as a hater.  I remember sitting in meetings and if you had a POV that wasn't aligned with popular you were labels as negative.  I'd watch as people would sit in meetings nod their heads in agreement then leave and complain about how stupid they though the idea was.  I've always been of the belief that a company hired me for my IP so when I was sitting at the table I diplomatically shared my  POV.
If you're in business you've gotta learn how to navigate the landscape especially if you plan on being around for the long haul.  In this solo episode I talk about the misconceptions of "Haters".  This is definitely an important conversation for aspiring entrepreneurs, managers, leaders, volunteers anyone who is charged with the responsibility of leading a team or considering leading a team may find some in this episode.
Enjoy the episode share it with your friends write review and rate us on iTunes.  I promise I won't view it as "Hate".  Feedback is the breakfast of Champions.

  • The Genesis Story
This is my first official solo episode, in it I tried to provide some context for the new members of Rununation.  For those Rununation members that  have been following on Facebook will remember the skits and weekly race recaps.  As crazy as it may seem I was hesitant to push the record button.
I've shared bits and pieces of my life in my music, what I attempted to do here was incorporate the music into the podcast to  help tell the story.  This was an emotional ride but I'm glad I embarked along the journey.  Sit back get comfortable and enjoy the episode .  If we've been brining you any value or entertainment through the podcast please write a review and leave

  • Interview With Bailey Drake from Headliner Video
Bailey from Headliner Video reached out to me for some insight on how I promote my podcast, It was a great opportunity for me to reflect on the journey and share some of what I learned along the journey.  It was weird sitting on the other side of the mic
Those in the "Rununation Family" who've been following me on Facebook and IG will recall the picture in picture videos which I created.  During the early days I'd literally sit behind the wheel record a video and have the guest do the same, then they'd have to send me the video through google drive and I'd sync them, strip the audio and then upload it AnchorFM- It was a tedious process but, was a labor of love.
If you recently started a Podcast or have an idea for one you may find some value from this episode.
Thanks for tuning in and if you haven't already done so please leave a Rate and write a review on iTunes, it would mean a lot and enable us to continue brining the absolute best in running/entertainment aka RUNUTAINMENT

  • Robbe Reddinger BigRun Media Marketing Manager
Robbe recently wrote a compelling piece for Runner's World Magazine about an curios observation noticed while on Strava.  The story was inspired by a book he'd just finished reading entitled "Not In My Neighborhood" written by Antero Pietila.  Pietila spent 35years with the Baltimore Sun.  "Baltimore is the setting for (and typifies) one of the most penetrating examinations of bigotry and residential segregation every published in the United States".
While viewing the city on Strava he was amazed to see the White L and Black Butterfly a phrase coined by  Morgan State Assistant Lawrence Brown.  "Baltimore's so segregated, even Strava shows it.  These runners want to change that". Robbe is part of the Faster Bastards a running crew based in Baltimore that runs along the Baltimore harbor and other parts of the city with the RIOT Squad and the Black Running Organization.
