As the new year approaches, so does the familiar pressure to reinvent ourselves. In this solo episode of Being and Becoming, I’m inviting you to pause and consider a different way forward.
I share why I stopped setting New Year’s resolutions and began living by intentions instead — and how that shift has changed my relationship with growth, motivation, and self-trust. We explore the pressure so many of us feel to “do better” in the new year, the shame that often follows unmet goals, and why intentions offer direction without demand.
This conversation is about honoring your current season, letting go of all-or-nothing thinking, and remembering that meaningful change doesn’t come from force — it comes from alignment. It’s an invitation to reflect on the why behind what you want, the feeling you’re truly chasing, and how to build a life that can actually hold the change you desire.
At the end of the episode, I also share about my upcoming Intentions for the New Year masterclass — a gentle, embodied space where we’ll slow down, peel back the layers beneath our goals, and set intentions that feel sustainable, honest, and true to your life. All details are linked in the show notes.

Welcome to Being and Becoming
In this episode of Being and Becoming, I sit down with Jessica, a Gut Health Coach whose own healing journey transformed her understanding of wellness from the inside out. Jessica shares stories from her childhood and how these early experiences shaped her interest in fitness, caregiving, and eventually holistic health.
Her path shifted when she began experiencing acne, bloating, and fatigue after years in the fitness world where supplements and quick fixes were the norm. Traditional advice offered little clarity, which led her to explore gut health in a more meaningful way. This opened the door to functional testing, deeper healing, and ultimately to the work she does today as a gut health coach.
Together, we talk about the many ways stress, processed foods, antibiotics, and hormonal interventions can influence the gut, and the gentle practices that help the body find balance again. Jessica shares supportive tools such as hydration, mindful eating, dry brushing, castor oil packs, and the morning rituals that ground her, while also speaking to the emotional side of healing and the importance of compassion toward yourself.
Jessica’s vision is to bring together the wisdom of conventional science with the depth of functional healing, giving women the knowledge and confidence to understand their bodies. This conversation invites you to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the powerful relationship between gut health and your overall well-being.

Welcome to Being and Becoming.
This episode is one of the most personal I’ve shared. I talk about discovering I had ADHD at 22, how it completely shifted the way I see myself and helped me understand so many parts of my past. What once felt like chaos started to make sense, and I began to see how I’d already built small systems to support myself long before I even knew why I needed them.
I share what ADHD really looks like for me; the messy, creative, overstimulated, beautiful parts and how I’ve learned to work with my brain instead of against it. My hope is that it helps you feel less alone in your own journey and reminds you that you don’t need to fix yourself, just understand yourself a little more gently. ❤️

Welcome to the very first episode of Being and Becoming.
This feels like such a new chapter — not just for the podcast, but for me. Over the past few months, I’ve felt a huge energetic shift, and I knew it was time to create something that truly reflects who I am now and who I’m continuing to become.
In this episode, I share why I felt called to evolve from Heal Your Human and step into something that feels more open, authentic, and aligned with the person I’m growing into. I talk about what Being and Becoming means to me, the inspiration behind the name, and how this space will unfold — through conversations about authenticity, healing, curiosity, self-discovery, and the beautifully imperfect process of change.
You’ll also hear a bit about my own spiritual awakening, how The Power of Now transformed the way I see life, and what it’s been like to find emotional freedom through presence and self-connection.
This podcast is for the in-between moments — the being, the becoming, and everything that connects them. It’s a space to explore, to feel, to question, and to simply be human.
Thank you for being here at the start of this new era with me. I’m so excited to grow together — one honest, grounded conversation at a time.

In this episode of Heal Your Human, I (Bree) open up about the meaningful and transformative process of navigating goodbyes as Sarah, my cohost, steps away from the podcast. I share reflections on the emotional journey of parting ways, the importance of honouring when something no longer aligns, and the courage it takes to step into the unknown.
While this transition brings change, it also creates space for growth, authenticity, and new possibilities. I’ll be continuing the podcast solo, with fresh energy and evolving content to look forward to. To support this shift, and to give myself space to move through my own life transitions, the podcast will now be released every second week instead of weekly. My hope is that this conversation offers encouragement to anyone moving through their own season of change, reminding you that endings are not just about loss but also about making room for beginnings and self discovery.
