I sit down with my old high school teacher and children’s book author, David Lubinger, to talk about his book series and how he went from teacher to author. I’ve never been one to keep much to myself. I’m an open book, and this week, I let you into a very personal page of that book. I was in the midst of a depressive episode, and rather than cancel my recording and hiding under my weighted blanket, I decided to share what was going on in the hopes that others who suffer might feel less alone. It ain’t pretty, but it’s real, and I’m glad I can share it.
