-MDW Tri-State Kick-off to Summer
-Are celebrities really "prepping for roles" when they go out in public looking like absolute garbage?
-And of course, your weekly New York Sports Recap
We hope you all enjoy MDW and Episode 30!
Thanks for Being Our Friend!

-Jess's Traumatic egg encounter
- The Year of the Hot Dog?
-NYC/ Dublin Portal
- Tom Brady Roast

It's New Episode Friday!
Jess is back from Aruba, so we are back to our regular content of pop culture news and sports. This week, we are recapping Jess's Trip and Toni-ann's eventful weekend before we dive into our topics!
- Cyber trucks are on the road and Jess is literally afraid of them
- Jess went to Aruba with the hubby and discusses her very geriatric vacation routine
- Toni-ann is, once again, asking to be sponsored by Tajin
- Met Gala Red Carpet and the overall mystery that is the Met Gala
- NEW YORK SPORTS, WHAT A THRILL - We are recapping the Knicks and Rangers playoffs runs, which so far have been full of excitement.
- Miserable Mets - The first ever $1 Hot Dog Night brings chaos and fun to Citi Field. But otherwise, the Mets are back to making us miserable, and so we have our usual bashing of the team we love oh so much. Apparently, there is a PANTS SHORTAGE in the multimillion dollar industry, and even the purest Met has something to say about it!
Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for Being Our Friend!
New Episode Friday!
This was by far one of our favorite episodes to record, so if you're not a Swiftie, we are sorry, but we really hope that you'll stick around and still listen to what we have to say.
We are running through all things Tortured Poets Department and Taylor Swift.
-Release week as a Swiftie
-What we expected the album to be vs. what we got
-Full track-by-track breakdown of the OG 16 TTPD songs
-Our reaction to the SURPRISE! DOUBLE! ALBUM! Along with more breakdown of 15 track Anthology
Of course, as we always go off on tangents, in between we are intertwining this album with all the past albums and songs, because what is a Taylor Swift album without easter eggs?
We hope our fellow Swifties like our OPINIONS, we stress opinions because we are not Taylor, nor do we know everything about her, we are just saying what we like and do not. Please do not come for us if you do not agree, but we will be happy to discuss with anyone that wants to! And by the time we actually drop this episode, our opinions may have already changed several times, that is the beauty of the different stages of listening to a new album.
For our non-Swifties, maybe after our ridiculous, insightful, funny takes, you'll be interested enough to give the album or even just a few songs a listen. Otherwise no biggie, as Jess says, we don't need any more Swifties, it's hard enough to get concert tickets already...
We will be back next week with our regular programming once Jess returns from Aruba!
Like, subscribe, review, share with a friend or family member!
As always thanks for Being our Friend!
Its Friday Besties!!!
Here's what we got this week! Out the gate we are coming in hot. With Toni-ann recording from her parents' house and Jess's terrible wifi, we have a few technical issues but we cleaned it up for you all!
We are recapping Toni-ann's birthday weekend, and how old we felt in the bar - WELCOME TO 32. Apparently, you are old if you know Soulja Boy in the bar.
We BRIEFLY discuss the new Taylor Swift album, but that was just a preview for our ALL TTPD EPISODE NEXT WEEK! Swifties or other interested parties, you're going to want to tune into that one. In other music news, the Jonas Brothers are moving their tour dates around, and we with the rest of the world are not on board.
New York City is a sports heaven right now, and we are enjoying the ride. We're talking the Knicks and Ranger Playoff Runs, Aaron Boone getting kicked out of a game because of something a fan yelled (LOL), and our hopes for the Jets in the NFL draft. Of course, we end it with Miserable Mets segment, in which we discuss the team getting back to average in April... until going back to being Miserable on the West Coast.
We hope you enjoy and thanks for Being Our Friend!
Happy FriYAY (and TAY DAY to those that celebrate)!
We did have some technical difficulties with our recording, so unfortunately we are jumping right into what's in our China this week, sorry about that.
This week we are unlocking all the millennial memories, discussing Classic YouTube videos that made our childhood/teenage years. As always, nothing is a straight conversation with us so we are also throwing in side conversations about our college days, what it was like growing up in the age of the internet, and how different the internet is today.
We are closing it out with our Miserable Mets segment, discussing Doc Gooden's retirement ceremony, and how the boys seem to be turning it around from the awful start they had... but we still won't give them too much credit since they can implode again at any moment.
We briefly discuss the impending Tay release... but we will have a special feature episode coming soon where we go full in depth. So those that enjoy Tay or just enjoy us talking about her, stay tuned for that!
We hope you enjoy and as always thanks for being our friend!
Happy FriYAY Besties!
After a week off, we are back with another episode of random topics. Today we are asking a million and seven questions, and we don't have many answers to any of them!
Kicking it off with our ridiculous things, we discuss how Jess is now inflicting injuries on herself, rather than Toni-ann doing it for a change. Our questions begin with things at the doctor's office... why can't the doctor's office update their equipment in the year 2024? And what is the standard practice during a dental cleaning?
Next up, SCIENCE (which neither of us are an expert on). We got an earthquake in New Jersey all in one week. And why is Jess so obsessed with natural disasters?
Our pop culture topic of the day is where most of these questions in this episode were voiced. Conjoined twins got married... so this leads us down a rabbit hole of so many questions about how they go through everyday life as well as how this relationship works.
And lastly we are kicking off our newest segment "The Miserable Mets." Each week, we will discuss what went wrong this week and question our fandom over and over again. It is sure to be a hilarious and fun segment for everyone but us, so tune in all season long.
We hope you enjoy and as always, thanks for being our friend!
Happy Friday Besties!
We are back and it is MLB Opening Week so we have a lot of baseball content for you, but before we get to that we are giving you the usual shenanigans!
This week, our pop culture roundup covers The Bachelor Finale, Justin Timberlake giving us the ick, and the latest on what is happening with P. Diddy. In current events, why are women being punched all over NYC? We are giving all our opinions on all of it!
We end on a high note... or maybe a low note depending on how Mets Opening Day goes on Friday, but we are talking all things 2024 Mets. If you don't know us personally or couldn't guess, consider yourselves warned, you will have deranged hosts during baseball season, but we promise to make it fun even if you aren't a baseball fan.
Thanks for listening and as always, thanks for being our friend!
Happy Friday Besties!
We are back with more than our usual shenanigans this week! In this installment, we discuss our kitchen injury stories, so by the end of our first segment, you will be questioning who allows us to cook our own meals. Nothing really new here because we are walking hazards and have established this many, many times.
We are also recapping the festive St Paddy's Day weekend. Toni-ann spent the day in NYC so of course she has plenty to share, while Jess celebrated more low-key.
Lastly, we are keeping up with some more pop culture. Princess Kate has been found, maybe? It's still up for debate. And, we are talking about the Love Is Blind Season 6 Reunion (so spoiler alert if you aren't caught up). From the terrible fashion choices from the cast, to the hot topics of the season, to the jaw drops from the reunion itself, we react to it all.
We hope you enjoy, and thanks for being our friend!
Welcome back to another week Besties!
We are here and giving all our feelings on the Oscars, but before we do, we have a few other things to discuss. We are kicking it off with our Ridiculous Things, both revolving around television shows. What is happening on network television, and when will they produce good original shows again and not 76 spinoffs?
We are also updating everyone on the latest Kate findings. Things are still spiraling for the Royal Family, and we are sure this won't be the last we discuss of this topic, but things are just getting weird. In Sports news, the NFL was making moves and we are giving the latest trades that happened Monday (3/11), along with Jason Kelce's retirement.
We are saving the best topic for last with our Oscars recap. We are talking red carpet, the show, the best and worst moments, and of course THE MOMENT. Ryan Gosling making us so happy and bringing all the smiles to our faces with his I'm Just Ken performance.
We hope you enjoy this week, and as always thanks for being our friend!
