Being in temporary accommodation is not temporary if you are there for 3-4 years

I was homelessness for almost 3 years, hidden homeless and I never thought it would or could happen to me.

1000’s of vulnerable adults volunteer each year for charities. Thousands of pounds gets pumped into the sector for peer to peer support, have vulnerable adults support their peers. The charities only cover travel and food provision for that day, when really they should be offering better basic needs support, which would help with the well being of the vulnerable adult. I ask central and local government to look at this problem.

I came to the realisation how stressed I was becoming while in lockdown 5 months I have been in this flat and it is starting to show.

The 6 week course has ended now what an amazing journey xx

This week we looked at our personal imagines and how we wanted to be seen. It was tuff for me to hear that I have to look at how I conduct myself.

This week we looked at tone and telling our stories. My story was great but the deliverance was not the best, one of my peer supporters agreed to help me work on mine.

This week I started my journey to parliament with a six week course on political pathways. I can not tell you how excited I am about being on this amazing journey. Thank you for listening xx
