1 Timothy 6:17-19

YOU ARE RICH!

$33,000: Top 1% of wage earners in the world!

$80,000: Top .1% of wage earners in the world!

Simply possessing wealth does not make you good at managing it. Having a lot of people make does not make you good at being rich, as having a lot of children does not make you good at being a parent.

1. Don’t be proud. Arrogance is having an inflated sense of self-worth. My net worth does not determine my self-worth. Generosity begins with giving thanks, not giving things”

2. Don’t trust in riches. I will not trust in riches but in Him who richly provides.

3. Do dood. Don’t use generosity as an excuse to lose integrity. Obedience is better than sacrifice. I will not become bad trying to be rich.

4. Be rich in good works. Greed is assumption that all we have is for our consumption. I will be richer in faith than in finances.

5. Be ready to give. I will make giving a priority, give with percentage, and make giving progressive.

6. Willing to share. I will share not just sell.
