Blaming others for something I don't like is way easier than taking my own responsibility to make it the way I like. That's why I tended to think that it's other people's fault that I didn't get what I wanted...

This episode, I brought my best friend Alysha in to share some of her thoughts about friendship. 

Comparison happens all the time. And sometimes it's not out of your own choice. But when comparing, tell yourself that everyone's life and experience are shaped differently. What they have achieved is based on their life, experience, education and so on. These are the things that you might not have. We haven't achieved what other people have achieved not because they are smarter than we are, just because they may start earlier and have made different decisions. 

We tend to be really harsh on ourselves when learning new things. We want to master it right away without realizing that no one can really achieve it. Then, we start to doubt our own ability and think we are really terrible. When I pointed this out to my student, she burst into tears.

I kinda figured out that I don't hate holidays. I just hate celebrating. I like days off, but don't like that I HAVE TO do festive things to show my participation.

Sometimes you start a book and thought you'd finish it soon, and then you never finish it... This is my goal in 2022. I am going to finish the books I have started but never finished.
