When life gets really heavy, I find myself asking God why. Have you ever asked God why?

If you struggle to understand why God sometimes seems to sit on His hands, I hope you’ll stick with me, because we’re going to look at what the Bible has to say about what God CAN do and what He WILL do. When it comes to what He Will do, I’ll give you a hint:

God WILL always do what He SAYS He will do.

When our focus is drawn to the bad things happening around us—whether in our lives or in the world—it’s easy to get overwhelmed by anxiety and fear. But what if we made the choice to focus on the good instead of the bad? Would it make a difference? Today, we’ll discover two promises in Psalm 34:4 and learn the positive results of seeking God. Have you ever been comforted by God? Maybe you wonder how that’s even possible, for God to comfort you. I believe that God will do what He says He will do, and He has promised to comfort us. In this episode, I testify to times God has kept His word to comfort me.

Sometimes His comfort comes over me like a supernatural hug from heaven, and other times, it comes so naturally that I might not remember that God is ALWAYS the source of the comfort we receive. You’ll see in the verses I’ll be reading from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 that God is the source of all comfort. I hope you’ll tune in as I share a story of receiving comfort from God, and I hope my testimony helps you take note of the times God has comforted you.

God performed a miracle 10 years ago in answer to a prayer I’d started praying 5 years earlier. Through those years of praying for God to heal a broken relationship in my family, I held on to the promise in Galatians 6:9-10. Is it just me? Or does life seem to have more and more difficult moments? This week, I was reminded of a scripture I memorized during a painful season in my life. I hope to encourage you with its message today. The version I memorized starts out with “Don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through.” Yes! The Bible actually says not to be surprised when we get burned. But those fiery trials come with the promise that today’s troubles don’t threaten tomorrow’s triumphs. Today I’m going to give you 3 important action steps when life gets really difficult.
