Ben Burgis is an adjunct philosophy professor at Morehouse College, a columnist for Jacobin Magazine, and the author of several books, most recently "Christopher Hitchens: What He Got Right, How He Went Wrong, and Why He Still Matters."
We talk about the legacy of G.A. Cohen and analytical Marxism. Cohen is actually interesting for an analytical Marxist because he was not as dependent on neoclassical economic assumptions being smuggled back into the picture like Elster and Roamer, but does seem to add a few assumptions himself.
Dr. Burgis's take on Cohen can be found here.
