First, the guys go over some news of the week, including Ryan Garcia' lightweight contender fight with Issac Cruz going away almost, as quickly as it was suggested. Why? Also, what's up with top middleweight contender Jaime Munguia now fighting a no-name opponent. Plus, what about the future of Golden Boy's stable of fighters and how it relates to their new deal with DAZN? Dan has insight and thoughts on it all.
Then, the guys go over the triple-header of fight cards beginning with the Matchroom Boxing light heavyweight main event of Joshua Buatsi vs. Craig Richards. Will Buatsi remain unbeaten with a solid showing to help his title hopes for 2023?
Next, it's the WBC super middleweight interim title fight on Showtime between former world champ David Benavidez, fighting in his hometown of Phoenix against veteran David Lemieux in a scheduled 12 rounder. Will the hard punching Benavidez get a signature win that sets him up for a potential Canelo Alvarez bout or can Lemieux push him, etc.?
Finally, the WBO interim middleweight title is on the line in Las Vegas on ESPN as Janibek Alimkhanuly of Khasikstan faces England's Danny Dignum in the 12 round Top Rank Boxing main event. Janibek is a hard punching former amateur star, who wants a big win on this stage.
