1. We have to understand the issues of salvation to appreciate the message of grace.--2. God has a sovereign decree to salvation and to condemnation.--3. God sanctifies His people by the truth of the person of Christ and His work of salvation. This is the content of the sanctification by the Spirit.--Conference message - 2

1--Many try to establish their own righteousness-using the commands-imperatives-exhortations of the New Covenant because they do not understand the gospel.----2--Those commands are not for the believer to seek establish a new righteousness for themselves, but are given only to those who already possess the righteousness of God through faith.----3--Christ alone is our sanctification and that means holiness.----4--What God demands for salvation is absolute perfection and holiness not our best effort or sincerity.----5--Christ has become all the things that God requires for salvation on behalf of His people.----6--God is holy and so Christ is holy and sanctified to be the redeemer of His people.----7--He was sanctified-set apart to be the mediator and surety of salvation of His people. 1. The problem that sinners have is how to approach God.--2. God has taught and provided the way of approach through the Tabernacle system.--3. What did the Tabernacle system teach about salvation and how do we know that the way of approach has been opened---4. The testimony of the curtain-veil that separated the Holy place from the Holy of Holies and its theological significance.--5. The renting of that veil in two and what that means for the sinner and their acceptance by God.--6.
