The city of Berkeley, CA has voted to eliminate gendered language from it's municipal codes. In other words they are officially replacing terms like "manhole" and "manpower" with other inclusive words like "maintenance hole" and "human effort", etc. We discuss if this is totally ridiculous or what...or is the change necessary?
