Are you making the right things easy? Find out why it matters π
For almost a year, I had a quote from my friendΒ Vinzent EllissenΒ in my ToDo-app. It said, βMake the right things easy.β Back then, I thought it was brilliant, but I forgot what he meant by it. So I asked him recently.
It means that you can design your life, your work, you name it, so that it is easy for you to make the right decisions and do the right things. Consequently, doing the wrong things becomes harder. In short, you set yourself up for success by design. The implications of this concept touch absolutely everything we do.
Here are some real-world examples:
ππ»ββοΈ Fitness - Place your packed gym bag in front of the entrance door. That makes it easier to go, and you create a reminder for your action on top of it
π₯¦ Health - You keep healthy snacks like fruits and nuts at your desk while you simply donβt have any candy around
π¨βπ» Work - Create financial incentive structures (bonuses, variable rates, etc.) for employees in a way that makes it easy for them to make the right decisions in the interest of the company
π± Sustainability - Societies can incentivize people to use sustainable transportation by making it more accessible and/or less expensive than other means of transportation (come on, Germany, make it happen with the Deutsch Bahn)
How are you using this concept? Feel free to share in the comments. Itβs easy πΒ and will bring value to the people that see it.

Digital twins of physical products + blockchain = π
In this podcast episode, Christian Adler and Alex Gamboa from twinu go in-depth about how digital twins for physical products using blockchain technology create better solutions to existing problems while opening up many new and exciting possibilities.
I think this conversation brings a lot of value to discussions around real-world use cases of Web3 technology. Christian and Alexis can explain their thesis around digital twins using blockchain technology very well and have the use cases to back it up.

Listen to two branding strategists geeking out about Web3 communities and Web3 communication.
In this episode, Randall Almeida and I discuss how brands should think about Web3 communities and Web3 communication. There are so many nuances to how Web3 communities are built differently and allow/demand different communication.
Ultimately, unlocking Web3 communities can be incredibly valuable for brands and businesses. Those community members are your super fans, stakeholders in your brand's future, and they put in their time and effort to help the brand grow, most often for free.
Talking and listening to Randall is a pleasure, so please enjoy our conversation. You can find the links to the episode in the comments below π

ποΈ Episode 38: The Key Principles of Entrepreneurship with Antoine Leboyer
Web3 community, we need to hear and apply this to move from testing the boundaries of a new technology to creating products that solve problems and have a sustainable business model. Airdrops for your early adopters (aka DEGENS) will not get you to mass market success.
Working as the Managing Director, Venture Lab for Software and Artificial Intelligence at Technical University of Munich, Antoine sees new technologies emerging quite often. What stays the same is the need for good entrepreneurs to find a way to create products with new technologies that lead to sustainable businesses.
Hence, I think we can all learn about the key principles of entrepreneurship from Antoine. He is a founder himself but also sees hundreds of startups rising or falling. I think there is so much to learn from that.
Please enjoy this in-depth masterclass on modern entrepreneurship π You can find the links to the episode in the comments below π

Tokenomics is at the basis of crypto- and NFT-related projects and ecosystems. And it doesn't stop there. The principles obviously apply just as much to systems in our daily lives, for example, to fiat currencies like the Euro. Hence, it is very helpful to understand the fundamental principles.
In this episode, my guest Max aka "Mr. Tokenomics" gives us some great insights into the world of how you can design sustainable systems around tokens. If you own crypto and NFTs or are considering building in the Web3 space, this episode is definitely for you.
