Apparently, some people are making new friends, even from lockdown! A poll of 2,000 Americans from Evite finds the average respondent says they’ve made six new friends as a result of attending virtual gatherings during quarantine. Eighty-three percent of those who have made a new friend say they are excited to meet up with them in real life and grow their friendship once lockdown orders are lifted.The data also shows that those in quarantine are also reconnecting with an average of six people they had lost touch with in the past, and 70 percent are reconnecting with people they haven’t talked to in over a year. Also, 70 percent say they will remember those who checked in with them when life returns to normal.
