Today on Monday Morning Bull, Bull returned from his furlough and then a nice long, isolated trip to Colorado! We discussed some of the really cool stuff he saw like Elks, horses, high mountain elevation and much, much more! We also had some great topics that involved ones manhood; travel during the pandemic and some cool baseball happenings over the weekend!

MLB is back at it and we found a great story about a season ticket holder in LA who had his cardboard cutout put in his seat at the game this weekend and was DRILLED with a homerun ball by Dodgers Will Smith. He got some cool memorabilia out of it too.

Traveling may make you a little nervous during the pandemic; especially on planes, etc. Well Bull just got back from Colorado and had a great report on what he saw and felt on his trip across the US.

Rob had an idea back a few weeks ago for a 'Pool Air B&B' and he was sure it would make him a millionaire. However, someone else came up with the idea, created an app and is off and running with it. We reacted to it even though Rob wasnt here.

There was also some great sound from over the weekend from Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott on accountability as we head into uncharted water with the pandemic and sports organization.

FRIDAY- 7/31/20:

Some people are superstitious; others are not. Bull decided to test his luck on Friday the 13th in early 2017 and sit UNDER A LADDER! Here how it went and if he suffered any bad luck after the stunt.

Very funny and agile comedian Todd Glass joined us to shoot the bull and was told to wait until we did our ‘Things to Do Do’ Segment…he ‘wasn’t’ happy about it and let us know about it!

Ever hear of Father Jack Hattrick? Well he was nice enough back in October of 2016, to help us christen the newly named Key Bank Center where the Sabres play.

The one and only, Buffalo Bills HOF running back Thurman Thomas called the show back in May of 2018 to talk about the Bills deciding to retire his jersey/number; one of the highest honors a team can offer a retired player.

Robs voice and vocabulary are heard daily here on 97 Rock and Morning Bull. This means many of you have heard his mispronunciation of words and names. We called him out on it back in April of this year and we discussed and dissected some of the funny things/ways Rob pronounces words.

In early March of 2020, we found a funny topic about ‘pretty people’ being moved to the front of the audience, nearest the cameras, at these big ‘live taped’ shows like AGT, any of the late night shows, etc. Bull and Bobby had been victim to the ugly-to-pretty ratio adjustment!

From Impractical Jokers, the very funny and quirky Sal Vollcano joined us to talk about when he came to town a few years ago with three other buddies that WERENT the other impractical jokers; but other comedian friends of his.

Another odd story yet again from Rob; from back in 2017, where he told of a co-worker, years ago, throwing himself his own 30th birthday party…but he wasn’t 30. Obviously this got us riffing and we thought of some funny ways to enjoy your birthday alone…kinda!

In early 2018 we updated our ‘death pool’ brackets and squared things up from the past year. We had some interesting selections in our later rounds of the draft so we chose to play some of those. Spoiler: Lil Wayne came up!

In 2017, we were discussing how to eliminate birds from flying into your windows and house; we got a call from a window washer who had a few anecdotal ways to solve the problem.

One of the original MTV VJ's, accomplished disc jockey and music journalists Nina Blackwood joined us to chat and tell us how shes been handling the past few months! We also had a chance to reminisce about her days doing the show and seeing all of the music videos come to light as the trend took off.

Chris is a big Bryan Adams fan and turns out Nina loves him as a person as well and he came up as a topic!

BOMB PODCAST - Thursday 7-30-20:

Beer is good. We like it and we know most of you do. Therefore, in 2016 we broke down the ‘Tourney of Buffalo Beer Brackets’ and picked and talked about some of our favorite local CELEBS in all of the ‘regions’ of beer in Buffalo!

Rob and his buddy Jay-Mo, MB Superfan, sang a song and serenaded the folks outside of the Galleria. Whether he wanted to or not, it was entertaining.

Most famously the original Hulk on the TV series, body builder and actor Lou Ferrigno was in studio with us in May of 2018 and he answered some interesting questions about his career as the Hulk and much more.

We did a ‘White Elephant Christmas’ in studio in December of 2016 and Rob was not happy with it. He complained but we still exchanged gifts!

In April of this year we heard of an artist from the late 70’s and early 80’s who Rob and Russo were big fans of. The catch was that the artist was not a regular ‘radio’ or mainstreamer, but a guy named Blowfly, who had incredibly dirty songs. We sampled some cleaner ones.

If you’ve listened to the show at all before, you know how much of a fan of Engelbert Humperdink Rob is. Well in October of 2017, he recapped his very strange encounter at the show he went to the night before.

In 2017 we found a story about Facebook and their effort to cut down on ‘revenge porn’. This included submitting your nude pictures to FB as you create your account…how does this help? We chatted about it.

Anthony Gaines is an independent Pro Wrestler who dropped by to talk the sport with us and discuss its impact on him and what he believes it adds to the world of sports. We asked him some cool hypothetical questions about wrestling the Bills as well! This from 2018!

Also in June of 2018 we had a ‘gay bartender’ call in and he sounded an awful lot like Rob. Hank the bartender gave us some stories about bartending back in the day about gay bars.

While driving to ‘ghost baby house’ Rob encountered what he THOUGHT was a ram. We didn’t think so, so we took calls and debated what he actually saw back in September of 2017.

WEDNESDAY- 7/29/20:

Very funny and quirky comedic actor and comedian Dov Davidoff gave us a ring back in 2017 to dish on his latest projects including touring and playing a cop on ‘Shades of Blue’. We also had to ask him about his co-star on that program, J-Lo!

Former MB producer Steve Tripi is a very smart man. In late 2017 he exemplified this when he took us through some experiments including some simple salt chemistry and chemicals Rob shouldn’t have been anywhere near.

When we first started doing our shows ‘socially distanced’ meaning Chris broadcasting from her home studio and Bull and Rob from separate studios here at the station, the original plan was to have Rob at home as well. He was for this bit and we talked about a very sticky topic with him and how he handles his family being at home when he does his laundry…NAKED!

In 2018, the versatile and fantastic businesswoman Barbara Corcoran gave us a call to discuss her career and how she has been so successful in the real estate business. We asked her about her experience on Shark Tank and her podcast!

2017’s National Whipped Cream Day gave us an idea: lets have us try to take a few ‘pumps’ of whipped cream each and try to read tweets. It was filled with euphemisms and was a lot of fun.

Buffalo Bills superfan, the late Pancho Billa from Texas, joined us prior to his passing and told us his life story. We also had a chance to ask him about his experiences with the Bills, including being able to announce the Bills first pick in 2019; Harrison Phillips.

The hot weather in June of 2017 brought up the topic of Mr. Softee and where you can find the trucks to enjoy their treats. We were enthralled!

3 years ago, Bull showed Rob a picture of a mushroom he saw on the ground. This not only disturbed Rob, but also got us talking about other gross pics we may have on our phones.

Nikki Haley is NOT on Robs ‘hot-radar’. He thinks she “okay” but hes just not a fan. But why? We asked him and he explained.

In 2018, Don Heins from PSE, dished on Canalside and the renovations made, including the Labbatt Draft House and what we have been able to enjoy since the overhaul downtown! Food and beer parings were also discussed, right up our alley!

TUESDAY- 7/28/20:

Buffalo Sabres forward and top draft pick from just a few years ago, Sam Reinhart joined us a couple years back to talk about the Sabres season up to that point; Christmas time for a professional athlete and his experience thus far in Bufflao.

Bull chews loudly, and not because he does it on purpose…he cant help it. See, when Bull chews nearly anything, Rob claims he can hear it. A few months ago we put him to the test on air, had Bull eat some crunchy stuff and see if Rob could actually hear it.

Just last week, Rob stepped out of the studio for a few and MIRACULOUSLY we got a call from a local ‘travel agency’, Anthony Travel, and they helped make sense of the new restrictions on traveling state-to-state within the US.

In 2016 we found a survey that ranked and graded what people is ‘normal’. From the way you eat your pizza, to the way you open your drink, you’d be surprised how many things were normal and how many weren’t which we thought we obviously knew!

Longtime news and sports commentator Dennis Miller joined us on the show in late 2018 to talk about his association with some high-profile political pundits as well as Bill O’Rielly and even an Ottawa Senators reference!

For one of the Friday’s in early 2016, we decided to ask YOU who you would ‘dump into the frier’ and what those people did to get on your bad side! They got juicy.

Rob also has an obsession with local news. A few years ago he took this to the extreme and went down to channel 7 to watch some local news anchors do pushups and obviously plug Morning Bull! We heard his appearance on TV as well!

Legendary porn actor and outspoken celebrity Ron Jeremy called in to catch up with us on what hes been up to as of July 2018 and he reminisced about Buffalo and Niagara Falls.

We played a game with longtime, trusted local newswoman Mary Alice Demler in which we took callers, asked them trivia questions and tried to find out how much they knew about her!

Ted the Dad was submitted in 2017 for a ‘Fathers Day Makeover’ and won! We had the reveal and reaction LIVE on air!
