What's it like to be a big time player in an NFL operations staff?  That's the dream job for former Iroquois High School and Canisius College grad Mitch Reynolds.  He's an operations director for the Kansas City Chiefs, and has been VERY busy the past few weeks with his team deep in the playoffs.

Wrapping up the show was our interview with Sarah Chalke.  You may remember her from "Scrubs", "How I Met Your Mother" or "Match Game", and she's back as the voice of Beth on the latest season of "Rick and Morty" on Adult Swim.

The hilarious former Office star is heading back on the road this spring for the "Dancing with the Stars" 2020 tour.

 

She talked to Morning Bull on her days at Second City in Chicago, recently playing here with Jane Lynch late last year, and her recent appreciation for the Buffalo Bills.

Wednesday's podcast opens with the Costaki's Divisional Round of the playoffs "Quicksnaps".  Rob was so unimpressed with Costaki's closing joke, we forced him to lay another one on us.  Judge along with him above.

 

Well, Ken Jennings can finally be declared the "Greatest of All Time" Jeopardy! contestant, clinching his third and final win of the "GOAT" tournament last night.  That and a creative divorce resolution proposal in today's "Trendzone".

 

Kate Flannery, "Meredith" from "The Office" checked in.  She's back on the road for the Dancing With The Stars 2020 tour.  She was just in Buffalo with Jane Lynch around the holidays, and shares a lot of fond memories of her days working Buffalo with "Second City".

 

Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News talks the Sabres' big win over Vegas last night, and the latest in the Major League Baseball sign stealing scandals.

 

And the 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees are out, and we break down the results, and of course, the snubs.

Rob is struggling to find a team to root for left standing in the NFL playoffs.  Most of today's show is dedicated to finding the most obscure, interesting, or unique tie to Buffalo and the playoff's "final four" teams of Tennessee, Green Bay, San Francisco and Kansas City.

 

Sprinkled throughout the rest of today's podcast are the usual bits, the "Did You Know" minute, and the Trendzone. 

 

Jerry Sullivan, host on our sister station 1270 The Fan, dropped by to give us his take on last weekend's football games.

 

And we wrapped the show with a visit from Jeff Miers, Buffalo News's pop music critic.  He took the passing of drumming great, Neil Peart, very hard.  And he celebrates the Canadian skinsman's contributions to rock and roll with Morning Bull above.

When it was revealed that Buffalo restaurateur and businessman Mark Croce died in a helicopter crash Thursday night, Morning Bull sought input from a very close, personal source, Buffalo Business First's Jim Fink.

 

Jim recounts Mark's myriad accomplishments in the dining and entertainment scene in downtown Buffalo, and confirms the sad news live on the show this morning.

 

It wasn't all just sad news though.  Tommy Chong joined the show, recounting his latest appearance as a judge on "Bong Appetit".

 

Daniel Baldwin also checked in.  He's starring alongside Tom Sizemore in a new crime family drama, shot and set in Buffalo, NY.  It should make its way to streaming services later this year.
