  • Moving States & Making New Friends w/ Daniela

In Episode #11, I have the very own Daniela Ocampo! One of my first friends from work and someone who continues to motivate me! Fun fact, she was the one who inspired me to start this podcast. This episode is also the first one I've hosted in person (safely) where we go over Daniela's journey from Florida to Texas. We also talk about how to make friends in a new state/city and the importance of truly understanding yourself and focusing on the present.

  • Communication, Empathy & Perspective

In Episode #9, I am talking about the importance of communication and being straight-forward (transparent) as well as highlighting the importance of empathy. A lot of our thoughts and ideas can be self-centered and even cause us to miscommunicate at times. I really wanted to make this an open discussion and one where I share my own perspective and talk through these topics since they have been very relevant to me this past week. I know this is a bit different and less structured, but I hope you all enjoyed it and took something away!
