Besties, Babbles & Booze

Talking about episode two of Katie's season.  Let the group dates begin, and the drama & sparks start to fly. But before recording todays episode Mal and I decided to take a trip over to our favorite local speakeasy.  If you love boozy drinks, secret doors, and kick ass service, you definitely should check out Relief and Resource in Fenton MI.  Mal had a "Master of Reality", which was loaded with rye, Irish  whiskey and Cognac...with touches of fig and lemon.  This one was STRONG but decadent, and came in the most gorgeous little glass.  I indulged in what could be the best tiki type cocktail I've ever had, the "Noonday Dream", which was a fun blend of rums, gins, plums, and vanilla.  I would drink one right now if I could. Welcome welcome!  This is our first breakdown of the Bachelorette.  Super raw, unrehearsed, and a few real life dog momma moments (We love you Penny!) Reviewing the first episode of Katie's season of the Bachelorette.  These are just our opinions, and it is all just for fun.  Todays drink was a Sparkling Pinot Grigio from the 2Lads Winery in Old Mission Peninsula, Michigan, and we LOVED it to kick off the start of our podcast and the start of Katies season.  

Eek, we started a podcast! Here is a little background info of who we are, what we are about, and why we are doing this whole podcast thing.  We are excited for this new adventure and cannot wait for you to follow along.  Today we are drinking a Watermelon Margarita whipped up by Mal, consisting of equal parts 1800 Ultimate Margarita Ready to Serve Watermelon and Master of Mixers Handcrafted Margarita mixer...add a few limes and ice. OMG delicious.
