As people gather for the holiday celebrations and family events, the buffets are chock filled with gourmet goodies and treats which may look really appetizing but for someone who suffers from allergies to gluten, even one teeny bite can create a painful reaction which can even lead to hospitalization. This certainly is not the way to spend the holidays!

Sometimes, if you ask your host/hostess, you may be pleasantly surprised that there are some foods available that you can enjoy. However, to be on the safe side, it is always best to bring something you know is safe and in fact gluten-free.
