First, we must know the will of God for our lives. Second, we must by faith fight through the oppositions to the promises in our lives.  Third, we must keep our eyes on the Lord and recenter often through prayer. Finally, we must learn to continually confess the will of God publicly, and to declare the Word of God to the things that are resisting us.

Peter’s house is a metaphor for his life as well as a type of what God wants to do in us and through us. He wants to come into our house (life), and bring restoration and His Kingdom rule into our house (household). His purpose is that your life might become the light that shines forth in the darkness of your neighborhood that others may come and receive the same healing and wholeness in their lives through your life right where you live.

The big, biblical, kingdom picture is that we are driving the enemy off our God-given inheritance. Like the Israelites of old, we are to move the enemy off our land. So while the weapons are defensive in that they give us protection from counterattacks, the context of the battle is offensive in character

In the passage we looked at today, we are given insight into the call of God to Moses to step into His destiny. What wasimportantfor us in this study is not so much what Moses was called to, but how God interacted with Moses in the process of unfolding His call to Him.

Jesus healed instantly, thoroughly, everything, and everyone. His ministry continues through His people. Everyone who comes into agreement with the promises of God, who calls on Him by faith is eligible to receive.

What is the biblical worldview? It proclaims, Jesus is Victor! He conquered death, hell, and the grave. It is in His victory that we are to move out from our present, passive, defensive posture that has kept us from bringing the powerof His Kingdom to theenslaved people of this world. His victory must be proclaimed, and must be demonstrated.

God reveals to us in His Word the fact that we are first of all in a battle. Second, that He has equipped us for the battle. And third, that in Him, He gives us the tools to live an overcoming, victorious Christian life.
