We whom are tasked with the prophetic grace of seeing and hearing and intercession, are to help carry the burdens of the children of God, and strengthen those who are weak, and protect the lives of those whom we are responsible for by taking what we see and hear and bringing God’s will to save, not to condemn to those within our charge even at the risk of our own safety, and reputation.

In Christ, by means of His work not he Cross, the original purpose of mankind was restored which was to fill the earth with he way of God.  Jesus summed it up brilliantly in His model prayer:  Your kingdom come, Your will be don, on earth as it is in heaven!

The gifts of the Spirit that flow from the outpouring of the Spirit, although different in their functions, all flow from the same Spirit and serve to bring us together and build us up as the body of Christ as we all work together for the betterment of the whole.

Nehemiah is a type of the Holy Spirit and what that should reveal to us is that the Holy Spirit is about bringing the work of building the Church to fruition. For the work to be accomplished, it requires the participation of all the people of God.

The ability to make one's lifestyle more Christlike is given through the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. Sanctification is a lifelong process, daily appropriated through surrender of life to God.

In Christ, the power of God was Present to forgive, save, heal, deliver those who were in His presence.  What we see is that the ones who received were the ones who recognized, believed, and pressed in to receive what was present with Him, upon Him, for them to partake of by faith.

The work of the Holy Spirit is to manifest the active presence of God in the world, and especially in the church.  Today we looked specifically at one aspect of the work of the Holy Spirit, which is that He, God Himself Indwells His People.

Following Jesus is a call to leave the familiarity and security the world provides, to follow the Lord into whatever situation and place He leads us to.  The call is not of our own making, but is a response to hearing His voice to leave all and follow after Him.

Because of the work Jesus did on the Cross of Calvary, we have the privilege of experiencing the fruit of His work.  We can receive salvation through the Holy Spirit who takes up residence in us, and we can receive the empowerment of God through the Holy Spirit upon us.  

As a result, as God’s people arise and shine, and the Spirit of God is allowed to work within His people, and through His people, people will experience the power of the gospel to save, heal, and set free.

if you hear the sound of His voice, and if you will call out to Him, He has already made a way for you to come and if you will believe in Him and keep your eyes on Him, you too will find yourselves walking through the difficulties that assail you and find yourself next to Him as He grabs you and brings you close to Him in order to walk through this life together.
