Chapter 6 of Ecclesiastes looks closely at our “life under the sun” - i.e. the days of our life here on Earth. We see the lifestyles of the “rich and famous” and are amazed at the luxury they enjoy.  We may even feel a tinge of envy - “Wow.  What would it be like to have….”  However, the wisest man who ever lived shares the dark side of a life focused only on the accumulation of more and more.  King Solomon warns of the folly of that sort of life and urges us to make our priority in life the pursuit of pleasing God and trusting Him in daily life.
