Among Word of Faith teachers, we often hear the promises that God wants us to have everything - great home, great car, great bank account, etc and they'll often appeal to Proverbs 8:33-35, "Hear instruction and be wise,
and do not neglect it.
Blessed is the one who listens to me,
watching daily at my gates,
waiting beside my doors.
For whoever finds me finds life
and obtains favor from the Lord,"
But, what is this passage actually saying? What is the "wisdom" it refers to?
