Bethel Church of the Nazarene Sermon Podcast

In this sermon, Pastor Mat shares from Acts 2 and the birth of the Church. We are called out of and into the world. God, through the Holy Spirit is at work tearing down the artificial boundaries, borders, walls, and fences that we place between ourselves and others.

In this sermon, Pastor Mat preaches on Acts 10. Mat touches on how to navigate the tension where our ideals of separateness from the world conflict with our ideas of engagement in the world.

In this sermon, Reverend Cisca Ireland talks about pain and suffering. Everyone encounters pain and suffering. She reminds us that just as Christ has suffered for and with us, He enables us to be a helper and an advocate for those with suffer among us-not that we have it all figured out, but we are on the journey together. Reverend Cisca speaks from: 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 and John 19:1-3, 16-18, 32-34, 38-42.  We can offer ourselves to a wounded, hungry, and lonely world. We are the body of Christ!
