WHEN JESUS IS IN THE MIDDLE... EVERYTHING FALLS INTO PLACE - WHEN JESUS ISN’T IN THE MIDDLE... EVERYTHING FALLS APART

WHEN JESUS IS IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR CONVICTIONS

1. JESUS IS YOUR TREASURE

2. JESUS GIVES YOU ROOTS

3. JESUS SETS YOU FREE

4. JESUS IS YOUR VICTOR

A disciple of Jesus follows Jesus and leads others to do the same.

To follow Jesus, you must…

1. Decide to follow Him (you don’t inherit it)

2. Give up your own way (humility)

3. Have compassion for others that moves you to action (burden)

Following Jesus involves two primary objectives:

1. Engaging in gospel conversations with people separated from God

2. Teaching Christians to follow Jesus and all of His teachings

1. JESUS WORKS IN YOU

1 Cor 6:11, And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

2. JESUS WORKS AMONG YOU

Colossians 1:28 28 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.

3. JESUS WORKS THROUGH YOU

Matthew 5: 13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
