John 9:1 – 7; 39 - 41
1. In the Midst of Context:
"I am the Light of the World. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

(VS 1 – 4) As He went along, He saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked Him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
3 "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of Him who sent Me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

2. In the Mess (6 & 7):

8 His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, "Isn't this the same man who used to sit and beg?" 9 Some claimed that he was. Others said, "No, he only looks like him." But he himself insisted, "I am the man."

John 9:39 – 41 (NLT)
39 Then Jesus told him, "I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind."
40 Some Pharisees who were standing nearby heard Him and asked, "Are You saying we're blind?"
41 "If you were blind, you wouldn't be guilty," Jesus replied. "But you remain guilty because you claim you can see.
