How will we fulfill the Great Commission?  When the church is Multiplied.

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Your promise may not have happened YET, but it doesn't change the promise!

David was distressed.  He was discouraged.

"God, what do I do?  Do I pursue?  Will I overtake?"

God answered, Pursue, Overtake and Recover All!"

why: For what purpose, reason, or cause; with what intention, justification, or motive.

We all more than likely know the what, but we might need to be reminded of the why.

Abraham is 99 years old: and has got a promise from God.

“If you'll be My friend and walk with Me, I will multiply you greatly.”

But, Sarah sees the issue. She sees the reality.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”

This prompts an all-knowing God to ask, "Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?"

When God asks why: there's a bigger purpose.

Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. 2 Thessalonians 2:15 NKJV

tradition: the handing down of information, beliefs, and customs by word of mouth or by example from one generation to another without written instruction

Is it a tradition or something more?

together: in or into one place, mass, collection, or group 2. in a body: as a group

How far are you willing to go, to be together?

The Grinch hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season! Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason.

It could be his head wasn't screwed on just right. It could be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight.

But I think that the most likely reason of all, may have been that his heart was two sizes too small.

In all of your guarding, guard your heart, from it flow the issues of life.

There wasn't anything new or special about the sand. He wasn't in a new place. He'd more than likely observed bushes burning before, it was the back side of the desert after all.

It wasn't the where, it was the WHO.

But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
