Bethlehem Community Church

What are you keeping in your secret box, sins from the past, sins from the present, things we just don't want to give up...

1. Do you have a vision?  Proverbs 29:18a
2. What is the source of your vision?  Proverbs 29:18, John 14:15
3. The vision for the church.  Matthew 22:36-39; 28:18-20

Paul Anderson looks at three characteristics that identify every Christian.

Your Value

Your Identity

Your Purpose

Do you know the answer to any of these questions?

Shea Adams, Dana Morehouse and Angie Newell all share their individual stories of motherhood but their one common faith in an unshakable God.

God Bless you both Frank and Susan, what amazing things God has planned for you both!
Thank you just does not say what we all feel.

“REAL HOPE”

1. Have you ever felt helpless?
2. Can you imagine how Thomas felt after seeing what he saw on Good Friday?
3. Read John 20:24-25.  How do you see Thomas’ doubt?  What is the difference between the doubt of atheism verses the doubt of agnosticism?
4. Read John 20:26-27.  How did Jesus see Thomas’ doubt?  What is true faith?
5. Read John 20:28. What does Thomas’ response to the evidence Jesus presented him tell you?  How could Thomas have responded to Jesus?  (See John 12:9-11 and Romans 1:18-22.)
6. Read John 20:29. What evidence do we have to believe Jesus resurrected from the dead?

Series:  Special Message           Sunday, April 7, 2019 -- Sermon Questions

“WHAT ARE YOUR CONVICTIONS?”

1. Do you think American Christianity, for the most part, is superficial?  (Discuss Howard Hendricks’ quote.)
2. Read 1 Kings 17:1 and 2 Kings 16:30-33.  Compare and contrast Elijah verses King Ahab.
3. Why is it important to be absolutely certain about the reality of God?  (See 1 Kings 17:1 again.)  If I am convinced of the reality of God, how will that affect my life?
4. Are you really convinced of the reality of Jesus Christ?  Why or why not?
5. Read 1 Kings 17:1 again.  Elijah sees himself as a servant of God.  What does that mean?  Do you really see yourself as God’s servant or do you think God is really here for you and your plans?  (Think about your prayers here.)
6. What people are you impacting for Jesus and his Kingdom?
