It’s another inside look at the Kevin Franke police interviews, and you’re not going to want to miss this one. Things are about to get really creepy, and we’re not talking about Poltergeist here (or are we?) - we’ve got objects flying off the walls, scary noises, trances, all kinds of demonic activities surrounding our good friend (worst enemy) Jode the Chode. Kevin’s testimony is important for a number of different ways, most notably for the things he says and the way he says them. You’ll hear Kevin touch on all different topics like how Ruby and Jodi first met, how he was swindled into ConneXions via Jodi’s famous Men’s Group offerings, and what made Jodi such a compelling personality when it came to getting folks on board in a cult. You’ll hear Kevin’s zombie-like delivery and you might even hear him snap out of it for a bit… only to retreat back into the darkness again.

It's time to hear the letters that Ruby Franke's family wrote in her defense. And let's just say, they aren't the best. Ruby's parents and her brother wrote two letters defending her honor, and we think it's safe to say that even with these letters in mind, we're not batting an eyelash at Ruby's prison sentence. We're reading both letters to you, and we want to hear all of your criticisms! We'll then dive into Jode the Chode's miserable excuse for a speech at her sentencing - it left a lot to be desired. The sentencing hearings came and went, and FRANK-ly, we're not buying Ruby's apology statement. The whole thing reads very much like an Oscar acceptance speech, and she doesn't help her case by conflating ducks and chickens. We're diving back into the Ruby Franke/8 Passengers saga because there is a lot more information that came to light over the past several weeks. You're not going to believe some of the information we're going to share with you.

We're completing our Lyon sisters two-episode special with the same question we had going in: why can't Lloyd Welch stop lying? Through many more interrogations (8 to be exact), Lloyd lies his way through discussions with the police. From small details to huge turning points, Lloyd's lies take all forms and sizes. On tonight's episode, we'll be talking about the very sad and extremely mysterious disappearance of the Lyon sisters in 1975. The sisters were young; both were preteens simply trying to enjoy the beginning of their spring break at the local mall in their Maryland suburb. Unfortunately, predators lurked around every corner. Join in to find out which one of the (strangely, many) was guilty of the girls' kidnapping.

Finally, we're on Episode 8 of our 8 Passengers series, and it's been a wild ride! We are so thankful to all of the listeners who have been "passengers" on this journey, and for sticking it out far longer than the Franke family lizard ever could! This week, we cover the arrest of Jodi and Ruby, what was found in Jodi's home post-arrest (including a super creepy "safe room" that we at Betsy Boss have aptly renamed the "unsafe room") and how much Jodi's house is selling for... we'll give you a hint: it's a multimillion dollar figure. Though the Franke children have a long road ahead of them, we're hopeful that restoring their "conneXions" with Kevin and the rest of their family will help them on their path to recovery. As was her customary “treatment plan,” Jodi isolated Adam from his wife in one of her “group programs,” then alienated the couple from one another by telling lies and building suspicion about Adam. If you had any doubts about how truly evil and corrupt Jodi’s history is, this episode will set you straight for sure. While we won’t make any judgments or claims about Jodi’s sexuality (which has been widely questioned and disputed), we will give you all the facts about Jodi’s patterns and practices that revolve around man-hating and couple alienation. One thing is for sure: Jodi may have tried to destroy Adam Paul Steed’s life and she may have come close, but Adam’s strength and determination helped him move forward from her abuse and reclaim his life in a new marriage.
