【Yuki David Takahashi Profile】

Born in the United States. Since childhood, he dreamed of becoming an astronaut, and after earning a PhD in astrophysics at UC Berkeley, he developed spacecraft at SpaceX.

He spent a total of 20 months in Antarctica, and also worked in the desert at an altitude of 5,000m, in - 65° Greenland, and on uninhabited islands.

He had dedicated his life to going to space, but he felt that the issue of livestock farming was far more serious, so in 2017, he started working on animal issues.

He returned to Japan in 2019 to work for the NPO Animal Rights Center, and has been active with his partner Sayaka under the name @dr.papa_tr.mama ever since.

He is currently in charge of the international organization Animal Alliance Asia Japan.

Yuki David Takahshi、アメリカ生まれ。

子供の頃から宇宙飛行士になるのが夢で、UCバークレーで宇宙物理の博士号取得後、SpaceXで宇宙船開発。

南極で合計20ヶ月、そのほか標高5000mの砂漠、-65℃のグリーンランド、無人島などで勤務。

宇宙に行くことに人生をかけていたが畜産の問題の方が遥かに重大だと感じ、2017年から進路を一変して動物の問題に取り組む。

NPO法人アニマルライツセンターで働くために2019年に日本に帰り、その後、パートナーの沙也香と @dr.papa_tr.mama という名前で活動。

今は国際団体 Animal Alliance Asia で日本担当もしている。
